In most traditional ghost stories, hauntings take place in a single location. Poltergeists have been known to follow the living from one location to the next, but are largely considered an anomaly. But what if a spirit—or rather, a group of ghosts—were able to travel the world, at will? Where would they go, and what would they do? What danger might they pose to the living?
Three elderly men sit around an old barn, playing dominoes in quiet camaraderie. The farm's pond stirs , and an undead creature emerges, then makes his way over to the barn. As the zombie approaches, the men are startled at first, but then recognize their old friend and former fourth in dominoes. They invite him to play, but as zombies will be zombies, a chance at a good human meal doesn't deter the old friend from desiring flesh. If they had just stocked the right snacks, none of this would have happened... .

After attending the funeral of her Scandinavian fiancé's mother, an American woman must decide whether to honor the mother's last wishes by partaking in a time-honored family tradition: eating the mother's corpse. This is a study in ethical cultural practices, the respect for final wishes, partnerships, and family. It’s an intense, uncomfortable time in which an American woman must decide where her loyalties lie and open her mind to new ideas, cultures, and (ahem) flavors.
